Frequently Asked Questions
How can I buy your meat?
Our farm store contains freezers full of beef, pork, and poultry, both cuts and value-added products like pot pies, broths, and soups. We have also curated a collection of products from other area producers that complement our meat products.
Are your cattle REALLY grass-fed?
Yes! Our cattle are fed only grass from start to finish. During the summer months, they rotate between pastures on our property. In the winter, they eat baleage, which we cut from fields that have been treated in no way other than composted manure from our farm.
What do your chickens and hogs eat?
For starters, they are pastured all summer long. When you come by our farm, you’ll see giant movable hoop houses which are moved frequently to provide fresh grass, bugs, etc.. The hogs are weaned in our barnyard, then moved up to pasture for forage. Each receives a supplemental diet of organic, corn-based feed that is completely soy-free.
Do you sell whole animals?
Rarely. Between selling cuts and supplying our busy bistro, we need all the meat we produce.
Can I buy in bulk?
Yes. We offer a 5% discount when you purchase 100lb or more. We also sell some products wholesale if you are looking to obtain products to sell in your store. Currently, we offer eggs and our cured meats.
